Congressman Garamendi has planned a Job Resources Fair at Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill, CA on April 10, 2010 and is asking for career coaching professionals to assist with resume review, interviewing tips, and general career coaching. In an attempt to further assist the job seekers in her area, Loretta as a Globally Certified Career Coach from the Napa Valley has offered her professional coaching services and hopes she will be assisting job seekers with employment coaching and strategies to assist them in becoming successfully employed. "Sometimes the spots fill up so it may be a stand-by spot but I am still honored to help the community in any way I can and I am definitely going to have a spot at the next Job Resource Fair" Loretta stated earlier today. Loretta has been helping job seekers for many years in the San Francisco Bay Area and attempts to help in the community whenever possible. Loretta also offers to give free hour long career coaching advice sessions at local churches and non-profits as well as participating as a volunteer resume reviewer during local job fairs when time and location allows. | Leadville deputy shoots 30 students with Taser at job ... - Coloradoan Posted: 08 Apr 2010 04:48 PM PDT LEADVILLE - Approximately 30 students voluntarily chose to be shot with a Taser by a sheriff's deputy during an annual career fair on Thursday. The Tasings were not authorized by the school district. The incidents happened at Lake County High School where the Lake County Sheriff's Office had a booth. Lake County Sheriff Ed Holt confirms a deputy did attend the career fair. The school superintendent told 9NEWS one of the deputies decided to try a "dry-stun technique" on students. There are no reports of serious injuries, but a letter did go out to parents telling them about the situation and asking them to check their children for any marks.
